If this is your first visit to Chiang Mai then it’s interesting to experience the local culture in between rounds of golf.
This golf and culture tour includes three rounds of golf at the best golf courses in Chiang Mai plus two tours and a fascinating dinner.
One of the attractions of playing golf in Chiang Mai is the cooler weather, especially during the winter months, when early morning temperatures can be as low as 10º C although once the sun gets up then its will be a very pleasant 15-20º C.
There are some tremendous golf courses and one of the most highly rated by locals and visitors alike is Chiang Mai Highlands Golf and Spa Resort.
The 27-hole Alpine Golf Club is a delight to play. The surroundings are special with mountains providing a lovely backdrop in addition to the trees, valleys and rice fields. One of the rice fields has even become part of the golf course and is an element of a par-3 hole.
Gassan Legacy Golf Course was totally renovated a couple of years ago. This was not just a cosmetic makeover but the entire course was re-grassed with new drainage and in common with many golf courses designed by this team they have added many new hazards to protect the now beautiful greens.
